just ordered peakboost ftw series!!!
I have a stock B18C in a ej8 and was wondering if anybody has ran this kit on their B18C and what kind of numbers are you pulling or what kind of times? I am getting the full peakboost ftw kit with 650cc injectors, 255 fuel pump, and hondata s300. I dont care if anyone has negative comments sned them my way if you want ha. but what does everyone think about this set-up?

peakboost is nutz and ken is great at being very helpful and informative. i have done a stock gsr motor and stock ls/vtec motor with his kits and both made 315whp @ 8psi.

yeah thanks guys im so stoked about getting my kit in. i got the 57 trim .63 ar turbo which i think will be good for my setup and for later building correct? I have seen and read where this kit puts down on average 20whp for every 1psi all i plan on running daily is 6-7psi which should put me around 270whp which i think should be safe on a stock motor correct? my tuner told me with the 57 trim it migth have a little lag at low end but he should be able to tune that out with the hondata.

Re: just ordered peakboost ftw series!!!
does anyone know what is a safe psi or whp form my stock B18C? i think i should be fine with 6-7psi which would be around 270-290 whp...
thanks teg racer. 4200 should be a good spool point so that way i wont always be spooling wasting my gas ha.

Re: just ordered peakboost ftw series!!!
they have it listed a stock gsr on 9.5psi was at 370whp if you have a stock gsr i would not recommend running 12psi ha. plus if you want to run that you know you have to get a 3 bar map? plus i wouldnt run 12psi because once you feel that power and love it you wont want to run low boost ha.

Stationed in Honolulu. Why go on vacation? jk
I just want to say thanks for what you do and you can take a month long vacation.
I am sure it is well deserved.
I am sure you will be happy with how the car turns out.
I can't wait to get mine goin.

+2 Thanks for your service to our country!
That is a kit I have been looking at for a long time for my 2000 Si. Just make sure you get it tuned well and have fun. Of course post your results once everything is running and boosting

Blaze-- Thanks man. I will def. post my numbers and everything once i get everything going. it wont be until like mid june but it should be running great.
JDM-- I dont plan on boosting anything past 10psi for now but will in the future. I am going to stick with around 7psi until i get internals done.

Hey dude,
I'm in the British Army and am currently saving for a peakboost kit. I had 6 weeks off when I came back from Afghanistan last October.
I didn't realise you had to wait. I gather its as they make kits to order rather than have them on the shelf?

Re: just ordered peakboost ftw series!!!
Yeah i actually think it is better they build to order and make the parts for what setup you have. ex mine B18C sir-g in a civic coupe with S2 IM. yes waiting sucks but like i said earlier i wont be here anyway.
To anyone that can answer.. Once i get my kit put on and everything is it safe to drive it to the tuner about 10 miles granny shifting or should i get it towed there?

I myself get rather excited when I know parts are on the way. Not so much when they are first ordered but when I have the tracking number in hand its very exciting.
