JUST IN, Integra Turbo install completed!!!!
My girlfriend Heather wanted more power for her slow 98 LS Automatic Integra.
So I installed a Greddy Turbo Kit. I started at 11:00a.m. and finished at 8:00p.m. today. I decided we should race it against my buddy's 2000 Jetta 1.8T with a 1.5 Bar Garret Chip. I edged him out in a quarter mile, his previous best was a 15.3. Not bad for her integra still having stock exhaust and only 8 lbs of boost, the Jetta is pulling 15 -20 lbs of boost.
The Greddy kit is a nice kit, however it took sume cutting of diferent items here and there to get it to fit, all in all it is a quality kit.
Go to my website and check it out!!!!

Email Me for more pics of the install

Re: JUST IN, Integra Turbo install completed!!!! (jaybquick)
Please chime in with any pointers or if anyone has ran a stock automatic integra at the track and what E.T. they got. I will be running this soon at the track so I want to know the gain. Thanks J

Another turbo auto!!! sweet :D keep in touch my friend. My first time at the track I got this slip as the best of 2 runs...
R/T: 1.304
60' 2.735
330 7.030
1/8 10.439
MPH 72.13
1000 13.417
1/4 15.922
MPH 90.73
Both pulls were powerbrakes at about 2000rpm, my launches could be much better, probably could shave that 60' to 2.6 or possibly 2.5 if god wants to be nice to me. Another thing is both 1/4's were done in 4th gear.... so I was IN 4th a good few seconds before the 1/4 was over which SEVERLY hurts my time as I now see...
3rd gear on a auto goes up to 6500+rpms hitting around 110mph so when I goto the track again I will be doing runs in D3 and garuntee better times (14's I pray).
Boosted autos are fun :D just don't beat on the tranny too much... must be good having a quick spool as opposed to my monster lag from my monster turbo hehe.. but like corky bell says.. "No lag = no turbo" or something to that affect.

I already installed B&M's largest tranny coller before putting on the turbo, just for insurance. Later

Hey man, not to flame, but how can you only run low 15's with 1.5 bar? I'd think it would be alot faster...

Ultra tiny factory turbo + probably automatic audi + someone who doesn't know how to drive the car at the track correctly (granted launching an auto isen't ROCKET science... but still it takes a little practice and timing) and not having the luxary of holding the car in a lower gear the whole 1/4 = not such a great time
Take me for example 7psi I ran 15.9, why? cause I let it run through all 4 gears... if I kept it in 3rd... I think it would be a WORLD of difference... but I'll find out soon enough!

How about 2.4 to 2.6 60 ft times with street tires. It is a manual. I get him off the line a little and very very slowly pull away until my back is just past his front by the end of the quarter mile. I have been with him when he has beat stock 5.0 Mustangs. Check out my other kill dude

Re: JUST IN, Integra Turbo install completed!!!! (integrx)
Right out of the box, except I gasket matched the exhaust manifold where it goes to the turbo, (It had lots of casting material obstructing flow). I also gasket matched the outlet manifold from the turbo. I had to bend the mount for the outlet pipe that goes to the trottle body, probably due to the fatter automatic. Had to move the lower A/C lines near the bottom of the radiator closer to the frame(easy). All in all I have had to do alot more customizing in the past, It was relatively easy, just TIME consuming. If you want pics, check out my site and email me for more. Later J
Oh yeah bone stock except for A/F guage Boost guage and the largest B&M trans cooler I could find (cheap insurance, I hope)
I think it will gain a lot of power once I have the money to put 3 inch exhaust on it.
