Just for fun.....

Just for fun.....
I was so pleased about the last batch of GT30Rs that I had configured, I thought I'd just share to the community (Thanks Pete..). One is STC's for the New Evo project, the other is a customer's Turbo that will soon be shipped after final assembly this week.
Customer Zach.....
Speaking of Ceramic and powder coating, we're now starting to do Valve covers.
Ceramic Silver (Test) I hand painted the blue with an acrylic paint, so we'll see how long it lasts.
Silver flake base coat (again hand painted letters)
Even the Wrinkle coats are now being done. This one below is a TEST prototype for my wife's EM1
Notice the "moon" cut
This last one was hard to do on the lettering because it is 2 layered.
Comments, please? I may consider this as an addition to the line.

how much is a ceramic coating for a manifold, turbine housing, and downpipe? And possibly a compressor housing?

Well. For the wrinkle coats right now I only have the HOnda Wrinkle blue, Type R Red, and Black. I'm working on getting some other wrinkle colors.
As for the others. I have over 3000 to choose from. They can either use Clear coat or not.
You must send your valve cover, $100, and I'm working on some faster turnaround times, so make sure that you have some other valve cover to use in the meantime.
The Lettering on the valvecovers is a little extra, because otherwise the coat WILL cover the whole thing. What I've done is use a small sander to file the powder coat off of the VTEC lettering.

Yes. That is a Gunmetal that I have available as well. I also have a lighter Black chrome that is used. I even have florescent (sp?) colors. As for the wrinkle coats, I can start doing Spoon wrinkle yellow, Jun (Green/yellow), and several others if the demand is right.
