Re: Jun intake manifold (Dr Pooface)
Holy expletive ahah and people were bitching about the Full-Race IM being too expensive. Thats along the price line of a Wilson manifold. It probably works very well, but ****, thats a lot of $$$.

Re: Jun intake manifold (Dr Pooface)
thats all types of sick but i would never spend 2800 when i could just spend 500 on the JG intake manifold. Still a sick design, sick welds, sick company
i wonder if there are any HP numbers out of this beast?

Re: Jun intake manifold (Dr Pooface)
If I remember correclty, JUN has had this intake manifold even before the AIR, and the Full Race Intake Manuifold. It's nice to see with all the testing Full-Race and everyone did, that they came out to be pretty close in design. Some people have argued that the velocity stack should be a lil more level with plenum. But in this case as well, they are not. JUN knows their ****, but it's too bad they are soo damn spendy. I doubt anyone on here has one. I'd like to see a lil more pics of it.

the first picture there is a weld by the corner of the plenum, looks like there was not enough inert gas shieding so the resulting pinhole will probably cause a slight vacuum leak. Also, in the second picture, you can see their welds have very little penetration. intake manis can crack too!
the throttle body angle will enoucrage more air in cyls 3&4, less in 1&2
... on top of that, it uses a hacked off cast stock manifold's head flange

I see that now that you mentioned it I would spend alot less and buy one from you Geoff.

There are just people on here that are just wanting to stir the pot. But you know what, in the end, they probably are the ones using/buying your guys intake manifold. Hook me up bro I got some free dyno time coming up.

They make a lot of parts for Supras, SR20DE-Ts, RB26s, etc.

I think a magazine needs to do a very un-biased test on all the current offerings of manifolds on the market. I am in with our Pro-Series manifold for turbo application!

Re: (Schister66)
You guys who have never built an intake manifold like that think that price is absolutely ridiculous. I feel it's expensive, but knowing how much work goes into something like that, I don't feel it's crazy. $75-100/hr labor, then materials. How long do you think it takes to make one of those, forming the plenum and everything?

Re: (tony1)
oh come on Tony.......people want custom stuff done because its "cheaper"
"it should only take a couple hours to fabricate and tig weld a custom 3" downpipe and exhaust right?"
