Default jrsc questions

i am new to forced induction and to jackson racing. i have a new jackson racing kit, i am going to run a chipped p28 with crome. i am using dsm 450s, i have a crv crank pulley and a walbro 255. on a gsr motor

i was wondering how much boost am i going to put out with everything stock except for the crv crank pulley. will this be a good setup for daily driving? i know about lht however i cant afford the intercooler kit right now. i would like to know more information about water injection also.

i searched everything except the water/alcohol injection. i found some information but not exact information. i have seen where the pulley raises you 3psi. how much hp should i put out?

Well with the crv pulley on there you should push 11psi. Jackson racing said that a gsr motor with like an intake, header should get 208whp on the 10psi pulley. So you should be a bit higher than that since you have some fuel system upgrades and also have the crv pulley.

The jrsc's are great for daily driven cars.

The water injection kits are pretty nice. You can get one from summitracing.com. You can use just about any methanol injection kit.

You might want to look in to 550cc to 750cc injectors since superchargers love fuel .

Any more questions just ask.

on 11 pounds wont that cause a lot of heat soak? can the motor handle that much boost? i will be autocrossing the car and may not have a daily driver until next year.

also i would need a basemap for it. i have one for a jrsc 6lbs but if someone has a basemap for one running a crv pulley that would be awsome, ii could have it bruned to my chip and then get it dyno tuned. i think it would save time on the dyno that way. i am running crome and i have looked on other fourms for the basemap but i cant find it

On a turbo its different than a supercharger appplication. 11psi on a supercharger is a great reliable daily driver. Its more safer to run a supercharger setup on 11psi than run a turbo setup on 11psi.

Just get the car dyno tuned and your tuner should be able to burn you a chip from the dyno results.

So you dont have to look for anyone's basemap because your basically making a custom one.

i ordered a 3.4 4 ribbed pulley from jackson,it replaces the pulley on the supercharger snout.it raised my boost to right around 15 psi,it was pretty nasty, but i know it damn well it wasnt running efficiently at that much boost.

10-11 or more PSI on a stock blower will result in heat soak. Your IAT's will be well over 200 degrees, possibly north of 250. You can offset the heat soak by getting the LHT intercooler, which happens to be on sale right now:

Running 15 PSI on a stock blower should ruin it. You can pay Endyn to port and re-clearance it for more boost, but it's $.

That seems low. stock b16s can make roughly 200whp with tunning at around 6-7lbs. of boost. According to hondata and jackson's sites.

it depends on the dyno they used i guess. i could go to one place in town with a dyno dynamics and might break 200 or go to another place with i think a mustang dyno and see well over 200. on 6lbs.where does the super charger build its boost on a gsr?

The supercharger like a JR one (roots) will make boost the second you floor it at almost any RPM. I make 8 psi @2500 and a little over 10 psi around 6000
