jrsc only making 5lbs
alright, so i put my car together last week. it's stock gsr block, b16head with double coil springs, titanium retainers blah blah blah, and gsr cams. took it to the tuner, i have the 8lbs jrsc crank pulley and he said it's only making 5lbs on the dyno. I really have a hard time believing i am having belt slip issues, i made sure they were tight AND straight. I can't wrap my head around how i'm missing 3lbs of boost. anyone have some input?
and fyi, i am using the stock pulley on the nose of the charger, and the jrsc crank pulley, so if i am thinking right, i should be 8lbs, any help would be appreciated, i've tried researching pulley size to boost numbers, but can't find anything with the jrsc pulley, just b20, b18, blah blah blah
get a boost gauge or borrow one from a friend to measure the boost yourself. also, make sure the map sensor is reading it right, assuming he is reading the boost from the ecu. if the map sensor is not reading the boost correctly then its boom for your motor.

i only suggest checking over all gaskets. because when i first turbo'd my dd i had a bad t-body gasket which did not show n/a. after fixing this i gained 3 lbs boost. so you never know.
my vac is too good to have a leak. my TB gasket could be leaking its *** off and not affect how much boost i make (supercharged roots style) i'm sitting at 23-24 vac at idle anyway, if i had a leak it wouldn't be anywhere near that.
fyi. the kid had a 4.2 snout pulley, not the 4.0. so with the Jackson pulley (which is actually a smaller diameter than a stock gsr pulley) I was making less boost. with the GSR pulley it made 6.5 on the dyno and fell off to 6 up high which is normal.
