JRSC GSR Help
Hey guys,
I just picked up a 95 GSR for a daily, and it came with this JRSC for a GSR. This supercharger did not play a factor in me getting the car or not because the price was too good to pass up without the supercharger, so worst case scenario is that I get rid of it for parts or something. Not a big deal. The guy was saying that it didn't make boost because the teflon coating is coming off the rotors. I'm not well versed in superchargers, so if anyone could help out on if this JRSC is useable or not it would be greatly appreciated. Here are some pictures of the rotors as I spin it. It doesn't make any weird noises when I spin it. What other information could I give you guys to help me find out if it can be ran?
Thanks in advance,
Ryan

Even with the Teflon coating being missing, the JRSC would still make boost. It may make SLIGHTLY less than a perfect blower, and it will be slightly more noisy, but it WILL work. Run it and enjoy it.

Does it look like the coating is coming off? From other pictures I've seen of teflon falling off, there's a clear difference between teflon and no teflon. I don't really want to run it. I was more interested in selling it. I just don't want to sell something defective.

I probably diddnt work because of a boost leak either in the black actuator which might be stuck or broken or theres a leak somewhere. The coatings wouldn't effect the blower from creating boost.

Awesome. I cleaned it up a bit. What major things are missing besides the belts and a couple gaskets? And how much do they go for with what's here?
