Re: JRSC GSR Dyno Graph (Arturbo)
this particular car has more ***** than most of the b20vtec NA setups i have seen
also, just like all the other JRSC cars i have dynod, it needs more rpm, it can make
even more power.

Re: JRSC GSR Dyno Graph (sgT)
why is it that often times a car running all motor will make a little less power than the JRSC but will be much quicker in the 1/4? seems like the mph is higher on the all motor also?

Re: JRSC GSR Dyno Graph (SEFI8LOxCivic)
good question, i havent seen too many JRSC running but i would think its related
to the phenomenon of NA cars running faster than turbo cars making more power.

that's true too. i've never driven a fast all motor car before... but people who i know that have them tell me that compared to turbo it feels slow, but when you go collect your timeslip it's actually pretty quick. the opposite is true for a turbo car... in a moderately fast turbo car... you feel like your going really quick, but when your collect your slip its not what you expect.

Re: JRSC GSR Dyno Graph (csufweed)
but on slicks the 60fts. are really similar. which also makes me wonder... how come we never see any wheelie bars on a all motor setup? not worth the extra weight? has anyone tried?

Re: JRSC GSR Dyno Graph (SEFI8LOxCivic)
well I believe the purpose of the wheelie bars was to help the Turbo FWD guys get traction by not allowing the front to lift when they launch which would only cause the rear to squat for a second.. thus they lose tracion.. by the use of wheelie bars they are able to keep maximum weight on the front tires to insure proper launch and wheelspin..(dude it's like really late did I make sense) heeh and basically ALL motor setups are not hindered by high torque output so wheelspin is less of a issue..as you can easily see a lot of 10sec hondas went to 9's pretty quickly with the use of the wheelie bars *smacks himself* stop rambling dammit =P

Re: JRSC GSR Dyno Graph (sgT)
Thanks to Steve for your hard work & tuning expertise. The ride home from Richmond to Baltimore went quick. I kept cycling from vacuum thru boost, enjoying the smooth transition JUST LIKE BUTTA!!
This morning I went for a quick drive to see how it acted when cold. It hasn't run this well when cold since before the FMU.

Bill that was yours? Congratulations! Big jump from the #'s you were putting out before.
Is that with the Kami 2.5/Carsound? Still with ITR exhaust as well?

Re: JRSC GSR Dyno Graph (FAST94GSR)
That would be perfect for roadracing. Look at the fat torque curve he has.
