JG engine dynamnics built motors...?
i was looking into buying a JG pro series block/head for my current project civic. i plan on doing forced induction (large turbo) and hopefully supporting around 550-600whp. i was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with them so i can get an idea of how they deal with customers and how good there work is before i dump a ton of money into the car. any info would be appreciated. thanx

NOOOOOO biggest waste of money... my friend paid big $$$$ for his motor all up front they tell him 3wks tops takes them over 3 months, it gets here thermostat housing is broke, vlve cover is broke, no header (he paid for) no intakemanifold they said they will throw in, no injectors they said they would throw in, i put it in his hatch 6months later (about 1 month ago) one of his Titanium retainers breaks and drops a valve, it only had single valve spring setup as well.... all i have to say is that they dicked him over really bad and no one else should go to them or same **** will happen..

Listen to us. Don't use JG Engine Dynamics!!! They WILL screw you too!!!
As someone has stated here before.
JG=Just Garbage
Here are pics of my first block I got. I am still fighting with them on the second block. YES, the SECOND Block.

Like the crack sleeves? I didn't think so.
Don't even waste your time.
Hope this is convincing enough.

Re: JG engine dynamnics built motors...? (boostaholic)
thanx for the replys, that made things clear really quick.
and as for do some research and learn some things, im pretty sure this is what i call research. i just sold my 650rwhp supra that i built and help my friend build his b18c engine (rods, pistions, turbo kit, ect.) so i do know what i am doing, but im just so busy that its hard to find time or a place to work on my car lately. im really good friends with a local shop owner, so i may just pull the motor and bring it in his shop and both of us work on it when time allows.
thanx alot for the heads up about JG.

Just type in JG and their service in the search, and u will find my last post.
Same thing here I was told, 3 weeks tops!
WELL, 3 months later I still don't have my block, more runarounds and more excuses. They told me it was done and ready to ship, I called 2 weeks later and they said it's not built yet, 2 weeks later it's in the build room getting built, 2 weeks later they say they put 5 motors infont of mine of "Higher Priority", Well I live in Michigan and my season is done in about 3 weeks, What can be more of a priority than that, if I lived in Cali or Florida I would'nt mind.
Your lucky, if I new about this **** I would've stayed away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohhh, ohhh here I am!
Look as tired as I am of talking about Javier & Joel & Nancy and so on, I will just give you a link from not too long ago.
http://www.superhonda.com/forum/show...5&pagenumber=1
And my friend (TurboDandee) also had a head fully built and port and polished (atleast that's what Javier said) and one his Titanium retainers cracked! Can anyone actually confirm if they are actually titanium? Also do a search. I don't think it will work by just punching in JG though. Also look at my avatar. JG

Re: JG engine dynamnics built motors...? (ED9Hybrid)
i have a huge problem with my bottom end from JG. right now. Got 3,000 miles on Pro Series block and have 30% leak down on number 2 cylinder and the others are 10%. So who does build good motors if J.G doesn't? I spent so much money on this block and i'm broke.

Did they ever mention to you that "Javier" assembled it?
I had that twice. Both blocks are crap. If he did assemble it, he must have been on some major bugar sugar.

Re: JG engine dynamnics built motors...? (ladysman)
Like I said JG takes advantage of people like us. Individuals who are thousands of miles away. When ever I talk to shops that deal with them they never have any bad experiences with JG. I heard that a shop in houston bought a crate motor from JG with Speed Pro that guaranteed over 500+ to the wheels. They sent half the money and the rest later. Although the second cashiers check they sent belonged to a bank that didn't exist or something like that......point is Javier, so far, got screwed on the rest of the money. I heard this from a friend who has a shop that helped set up the dyno time for the car they droped the motor into. He also told me they dropped 532whp, I believe, on there first pull ! Like I said that is what i heard. There are atleast two people on this board that know first hand although i'm not gonna call anyone out. They can speak for themselves .

I posted the samething about two months ago, and found out that JG sucks complete *** all the time. I would not do any type of business. I would deal with Viren or (civic96hb9secs) which is his aol instant messenger name.

my motor is a 95 Gsr and they didn't say who assembled it. I'm also using a stock headgasket but it's machined bye them for my new bore size.
