Default JE and SRP whats the diff.

just wondering what the difference is

i know that SRP's are made by JE and the diff in price is quite minimal.

So what's the deal with this? SRP's are said to be lower quality than JE's does this mean SRP's are crap?

anybody had bad experiences with SRP's?

Default Re: JE and SRP whats the diff. (turboeg77)

srp are high silcone and JE are low silcone which are what most other forged pistions are besides wisco
low silcone are much weeker and cant stand super high amounts of boost or noz
low silcone expand less and run much tighter piston to wall clearances thus will much less piston slap on start up and should run quiter.

just get the strong ones JE srp price differance is minnamal
