Default jdm b20b 300whp

Jdm b20b stock
ls trans
Cc stage 5 clutch
Arp studs
Cometic hg
garrett 60-1
Stainless works cast mani
Dsm 450s
dsm bov
tail 38mm
2.5" dp
3" exhaust

Hoping for 300

Im concerned the turbo may be too large and the manifold / dp bring too restrictive.

Any input / advice / others runing this setup?

60-1 isn't the best suited for your setup. It'll work though. Will be a Lil laggy. Better flowing manifold and 3" downpipe would help. Not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure 300 is about the limit on those 440s. Fuel pump? Setup is better suited for say a 50 trim turbo. Would spool much sooner. But like I said your setup will work as long as you have a fuel pump.

I would run at least 550's or higher for that goal.

(and a 255lph pump)

I agree, look into larger injectors and invest on a fuel pump. The turbo will do 300 no problem, but are a bit on the laggy side. If you are looking for something with a quicker spool as well support the power goals your shooting for, I would recommend a Turbonetics 57mm turbo with a .63 exhaust housing. Many of my clients have been very successful with this turbo for fast spool and capable of supporting up to 500hp and pricing at only $669.

I made 280whp with my B20b a few years back and its definitely possible
49mm garrett w/ .68 a/r exhaust
11 psi of boost
victor x intake w/ 70mm t.b.
Ramhorn manifold (not cheapy ebay)
2.5 in downpipe 3 in. exhaust
2.5 in charge piping
440cc injectors 52psi base pressure and 85% duty cycle is the highest they saw
walbro 255lph
With the larger turbo you should have no problem really. Your limiting factor is probably your rods at this point. Or the rpms will kill the non vtec head.Mine made 280whp at 7100rpm and power was still rising. Sadly the b20 just cant consistently handle the rpms so I didn't take it higher. Mine stripped out the rocker pivot bolt thingy and I dropped a valve That was a year and a half of pure driving rape though.
