160 deg thermostat is benificial but don't spend more money on a "Jackson Racing" thermostat.. just go to autozone and ask for a 160 deg thermostat.. It will be much cheaper..

I have one...all it is is a Stant Thermostat in a Jackson Racing package.
I do notice the temp guage is slightly lower than it was with the stock thermostat, but that also could just be my bad memory.

somebody remind me this weekend and i'll head to autozone and ask them to look up the part number for this, and for a radiator cap for a 67 vw bug...

I have the bling bling Mugen one and it keeps the temps way down - especially when you run the coolant through the heater core.
Worth it if you can find one at Autozone... can you mail order a cheap one or something?
