Re: Its a bad day for wiseco!! (AccordEX-T)
looks like you got a tuning issue at hand. not a piston issue. if it was a piston issue it would crack. not melt.
melt down is caused by thermal expansion and overheating of the aluminum contents.

looks like you put A round piston in a oval hole.
na it just looks like you have just a tiny little bit of A tuning problem nothing major.lol

I hope your fixing the real problem, because there not going to give you two sets. I would check the injector on that cylinder, thats more then likely your problem not the pistons.

Wow I guess it really pays to be uneducated. BTW you'll probably do the same to the new set they send you since it seems you think it was the pistons fault so good luck on getting a third set from them!

My moneys on the injector, he drove it for 5 months on this tune, if it was the fmu you would probably see it on the other pistons also.

Consider yourself lucky....I give Wiseco allot of respect for doing this for you, I'm sure they also knew in the back of their heads that it wasn't piston failure.

ya i would check that injector first before slapping in other set
get rid of that FMU setup
and i seriously doubt that wisco gave you a set of pistons...that was not piston failure...ur injector prob took a **** and leaned out that cylinder

Re: (lucidvtec)
Yeah defiantly looks like to lean/to much retard
Defiantly a tuning issue
( I remember my first turbo kit, 4 years ago when I was newb, b&m fuel pressure regulator for ems, and static ignition retard, lasted 3 weeks then melted a hole down the side of piston number for, the hole was the size of my pinky )

Re: (JG-Fabrications)
Sorry to say it, but I agree with everyone else. If you could afford pistons, you could definetly afford some 450s and Uberdata/Crome and a fuel pump.... Get some better fuel management and get it tuned by someone who knows what they are doing and your setup will last a long time....

My Wiseco's lasted a year before I cracked the skirt in half.
They make good pistons IMO, they're just not use to my abuse.

Re: Its a bad day for wiseco!! (AccordEX-T)
It's great that Wiseco is giving you a new set of pistons, although I sure as hell can't see why. Wiseco should have told you politely to get fucked, and learn something about tuning.

Not Wiseco's fault. You better figure out how to control all that detonation.
