You can get any size core you like! I carry Forge Motorsports intercoolers! They are made in the UK! The offer a universal 26.77"x6.29"x3" core or a universal 24"x6.29"x3" core! They are $525.00 + shipping. They have the endtanks welded on them with 2.25" inlet and outlets! I can email you pics if you like!

Im curious how other CRX owners have routed their IC piping too. I have a feeling on how I am going to route mine, but it would require putting big *** holes in a couple of pieces of metal.

It does require punching some holes through the metal in the front. The easiest way that most of us F/I REX guys do it is through the spot where the A/C line normally come though. It's an ovular hole about 2"X1" on the right side on the radiator, next to the horn. I used a 3" hole saw to enlarge the hole, and then a file to clean it up. I've got pics of it, but geocities sucks

Oh yeah, the x-memeber will be a pain to, count on it !

I just got an email from Forge Motorsports with their new price list! I can get this intercooler, which is 26.77"x6.29"x3" with endtanks welded for $475.00 + shipping.

I can get this intercooler which is 24"x6.29"x3" with endtanks welded for $475.00 + shipping also! I can get the standard endtank comfiguration with this intercooler!

I can also get this intercooler for $645.00 + shipping! I can get the exact dimensions this afternoon! I believe it is 28"x11"x2.75". It is a *HUGE* inetrcooler!

Liltrix, what are the specs on your brothers buildup? I take it that busted block was the one that was making all that HP?

He had a custom turbo by XS Engineering, Apex intercooler, B16 head, upgraded in tank pump, AVC-R, 550cc RC Injectors, DFI Gen 6.
Yes thats his block, thats what happens with 24 PSI with an untuned DFI.

Cool, I thought I might have been totally tripping about how to route it. I guess I was right though. Those ICs look awesome Louis, I'll have to keep those in mind when I need one.

Here are specs to some intercoolers:

APEXi Skyline Intercooler Core: 24"x10.7"x3"
XS Engineering Skyline Intercooler Core: 24"x10.94"x3"

These intercoolers are good for 500+ whp! The larger Forge Motorsports intercooler is made for the Nissan Pulsar GTiR! A lot of the UK and European GTiR's are only pushing 400-450 whp! It has a large surface area so it cools a lot of air! If you are planning on pushing the 500+ whp mark, the GTiR Intercooler will work for you! Otherwise, I would suggest running the other 2 smaller Forge Motorsport intercoolers! They can support 450-500 whp without any problems!
