If it fits and you can mount it, it will work. Generally speaking the bigger the IC the better.

Custom work can be expensive for the tubing. Have you priced that out yet? It woudl most likely be cheaper to get a kit. A friend of mine does custom work and charges 40/hr (cheap compared to a shop). IC with stainless tubes ~1600-2000. At a shop ~$4k depending on material used (alum/stainless)

^^holy ****, ic piping itself should cost no more than 200 for stainless, if that, save yourself some money and do it yourself

2.5" stainless and not using those sillycone connectors with hose clamps, but welded together. Including mounting the IC and turbo inlet pipes.

Now you can get an intercooler that it TOO big....if your not pushing very much psi and you have a huge front mount your not going to make as much power as you would a smaller one (reason: significant drop in boost pressure b/c you have low air trying to fill up that hugh front mount) but if your pushing arround 15 or more lbs....then go big.

Thats the thing. Most people who take their brand new GT3 to be race prepped by a shop already own lots of property and want to make racing their hobby. You should see some of their shop bills. $2k just buys an alternator for a GT3.

4-600 and thats a kit with silicone connectors and hose clamps , not really custom fabrication.

Jesus Christ r u serious ??? What in the expletive do you need an intercooler that big for in your ride??? Unless you are planning on at least 500 HP- Good luck gettin it in your accord unless you plan on not running the bumper brace, or a majoriy of the bumper for that matter.... RICE??? Okay a bit harsh-

Seiously

Im running a 28"x7"x3" and the thing stays cold on the side its supposed to be, 278 HP @ 10 psi in an 94 accord ex. CLEAN INSTALL too, with front brace, and stock bumper skin (had to trim out the rear of the skin and the lip th0) BUT it looks like it came this way.

Let me know if yer interested in which one, i can hook you up with a link.
Supports 350 hp.
SEARCH; READ; LEARN... ACT ACOORDINGLY- NExt....

Oh ya, Use aluminum tubes too... helps diperse heat. you can get 2mm thick polished tubes in the diameter of your chooice on ebay-120 shipped- I do like to do **** myself, so me and a buddy mocked up the pipes, put marks on em and had them tigged together...They fit perfect. Take your time save some $$$!!!! They really are NICE, I used them- ya get:

2 45 deg bends
2 70s
2 90s and 2 straight
14 " long each

Very nice ****!!!

I went with 2.5 "

Good luck, the accord is pretty easy to fab pipes for too!!!

k, so I post an outrageous price for custom work. But honestly thats what http://www.3r-racing.com wanted for it on a car (not a honda) that doesn't have a kit available. 2k

of course they make speed challenge cars and various other kick A$$ projects.

But If someone posts about a remote mount turbo they get no flammage. Thats honda-tech for you.

DO NOT get the 2000$ IC Pipes. THey are a ripoff of SSAC (AKA SSASHIT!) and will break in half for no reason.

Ebay also has a 5th gen accord setup fopr 350...... i thought that was too steep, so I did my own, but ya may wanna look, at least youd have a start. I could even see 500-600 for a IC pipe set (new) but ****, at least you asked here and havent gotten fucked (yet).

I used these and they worked SWEET, and looked really nice!! (2mm thick tubess, polished mirror bright!!! Not only do they look good, but the help to dissapate heat as well. Make sure to ditch the clamps they come with and get some t bolts (dont pay over 3.00 a piece either)
