Default Intercooler Group Buy

Ok guys, I have a group buy for PWR intercoolers. These are cores only meaning you would have to make your own endtanks. The size is 18 1/4x6x3. The price will be $259 plus shipping. They are tube and fin style. This is the same style as what im running in my 9 sec. car. Let me know what you think and post or email me with any questions.....Mike
ps: we need 20 to get the ball rolling on this one.

I can see what I can do with prices on endtanks. You can buy then already made for about $30 a side at turbonetics and other places. Or I might be able to have custom ones made for special orders. Im working on getting some flow rates....Mike

Could you possibly get bigger core sizes and then let us pick from different sizes? I dont mind paying more for a bigger one since the price is great as it is.

At this point, that is the only size they have offered on the group buys. I am in the future going to try to get other sizes and parts such as their radiators.

Do you have any pictures of the actual cores? It's kind of hard to see any real detail on the pwr website.

Also, do you have a timeframe on when this will happen?

What I can do is take some pictures of my intercooler and post them. It is much larger since its going into a race car. Also, the buy is open so how ever long it takes to get 20 orders...they will be shipped.........Mike

I'd like to get in on this, but I'd really like to have something bigger, let us know if they decide to offer a larger core.

At this time, that is the only size I can get. Since it is a tube and fin style though, it will be very efficient. I beleive in the near future they will be offering oil coolers as well.

Yeah, I know....Thats all that pwr was going to offer at this point. Im doing my best to do what I can. The price was so cheap though, it makes sense to buy the vore and then just buy some endtanks and then for about 300-350 you have a nice intercooler.

Im sure I can arrange something on labor on endtanks. I will check up on that. Would these intercoolers be more tempting to people if we got some kind of endtanks for them and had them installed at an extra cost?

I think i'd be in too if you can get endtanks, I haven't installed my drag III kit yet but the intercooler that came with it is tiny and I'm looking to upgrade before I even install it.

Sorry, couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not, I just see a lot of you guys running massive intercoolers and I figured it might be a good idea for me to upgrade before I even install the kit cause it gets in the high 90's here during summer!!
