Default Integra LS Turbo Advice

I am in the process of doing a B18b1 motorswap with a GSR tranny into my 95 Honda Civic EX. One of my friends has a Greddy Turbo Kit that fits the 92-95 Civic EX SOHC motor which is still new and in the box. Would it be ideal to use this smaller turbo with the closer gear ratio of the GSR tranny? And, what problems would I run into aside from needing a different exhaust manifold for it to fit the LS motor? The management system will be no biggy since I use Hondata anyway. Any info would be appreciated on the subject of the piping and hardware coming close to fitting. Thanks.

It would not be bad to use that. I would get a slightly bigger turbo. With that gsr tranny you will stay in ur power band real good.

well first of all, i dont like prefab kits.

second of all you just need a new exhaust manifold and should get another turbo, and everything else should fit within reason. a lil work will be needed but just think about it, a B series engine doesnt take that much more room up in the engine bay, so all the piping and such should work. Oh, you may need a different coupler for the TB since i believe D series is 2" and B series is 2.5"...im not sure about that last part for the D series

as far as turbo sizing, it all depends on the poewr you want to make.
the greddy turbos are smaller than your regular t3/t4, ect.
im not sure on the exact limit of the turbo, but im guessing somewhere in
the 300's. if you plan on putting up some nice numbers and nice 1/4 times,
you will want a bigger turbo than that. if you want something thatll just
be fast and very streetable, the greddy turbo is fine.
either way, the gsr tranny compared to a b18b tranny will help you
accelerate faster.
