intake manifold help please!

Default intake manifold help please!

im puttin together a little street car.. i drive the car to and from work. im stayin on pump gas but i want to make it super nice for the streets.. it should make 400 whp fairly easy. i want to find the right intake for my setup..

b18c1 block
eagle crank, rods
cp 10.1 pistons
head studs
b16b head ported, ss valves, springs and all
ctr cams
sp mini ran exhaust manifold
percision 5862 billet wheel and ported housing turbo
aem ems
id1000s

This guy knows whats going on! If your hell bent on getting an aftermarket intake I would get a skunk2. I just switched from an AEBS to a victorX and don't really like to low end and street perfomance but it was a sacrifice I made for future plans of 600+.

Ya victor X is unecessary, I would go with a Skunk2 for sure. I ran one last year and made 400whp on pump on a setup similar to yours. I bought a Victor X for this years build because I have a larger turbo and a much larger power goal.

i had a bigger turbo no a/c and jg edelbrock . made 600whp what about the golden eagle or the afi? worth the cheese? i have a skunk2 pro intake already. so u guys think i should just stick with that one?

i have a magnus for sale longer runners than the victor x...will keep more low end power and still has a 5l plenum to support as much as 900whp...500 shipped....or put an aebs,sk2,blox....

Ya for sure. For what you are tryin to do the stock gsr one will work but if you want to get something a little nicer, the S2 manifold will be more than sufficient.

I will be doing a very similar setup and I chose the Skunk2 manifold for the same reason...nice fun street car

Keeping it simple is KEY, skunk2 is plenty of manifold for 400whp. Theshodan knows what he is talking about. I made 406whp on a car i tuned on pump gas with a blox which is same thing as skunk2jst not as nice
