Which Intake Manifold
Well I dont think I can say anything really stupid here. Just have a few options at which intake manifold to purchase...There is STR, Golden Eagle, Venom, maybe Skunk 2 one day...Which do you guys reccomend ?

The skunk2 is going to be the best fitment, and OEM quality out of the bunch. Not to mention the cheapest out of those options that you listed. For the most part, getting rid of the dual stage intake manifold you are going to gain a decent amount of power alone. The huge plenum of the venom, str, etc is going to be the best that you can get for your application. You might want to look into purchasing the victor x intake manifold for a b-series, cutting the flange off and having the h22a intake flange welded on. I think the design of the victor x is exactly what you are looking for.

600.00 is twice the price of the skunk2 one. If money is no object, then go with the GE/Venom/STR manifolds. I dont think that you will gain much more whp and torque over the skunk2.

Actually, I can get it for $535.00...But I just found out that my engine builder removed the butterfly valves...Wasnt this the very restrictive piece you were referring to ? Would you even spend the money on the IM now ?

It will help, but the plenum shape and the runner length is not optimized. If you want to save money, then hog out the ports and plenum and it should flow very nicely.

its easy to cut the B series flange off the victor X and weld on an H series, we can do it for you pretty easily.

dude, the Golden Eagle manifold is BY FAR the best manifold you can get for the H22, when it comes in, all sensors bolt right up, and there are vaccuum fittings already on the manifold. i have one, haven't installed it yety, but the thing is so perfect i just like picking it up and looking at how awesomely built it is
