Installing walbro 255 need help??
no i dont. but its pretty easy to install. disconnect the fuel return line. take the nuts off .pull it out at an angle(towards the front of the car and up). youll see how easy it is once u get the pump out. the only thing that was diffacult for me is that damn tampon looking thing on the stock fuel pump fell off in the tank and i had to go fishin for it. lol
You can literally take a maximum of 15 minutes to install it. Just pull your seat off and look at all the bolts, unscrew the nuts and pull off the lines. You can take it from there.
ive done all of ..... the back seats and the chrome cover, im stuck when it comes to the two things that are bolted down with a couple 10's, i dont know which one the fuel pump is in. the one more towards the front seat or the one more towards the back seat?
fuel pump is dead center under the back seat. it has 4 screws holding down the plate and has a black loomed wire connections coming from the floor harness.

c-speed has a lot of good write ups. That is one of them. Fuel pump is gravy. Just make sure you have some rags around. You will need them for the "wet" parts that come out of the tank, and you may spill a little gas in the process.
Hopefully your FPR can handle the new fuel pressure. My 95 ls teg can't. At idle I run really really really rich, but once i get going it's ok.
just releive the presure from the gas cap. open the gas cap. grab sum rags and get dirty. take off the bottom seat cushion. youll see a cover wit 3 or 4 bolts tae those bad boys out. youll see the 2 fuel lines un hook them and take the rags to soak up the fuel. cuz it can make a mess. from there take the pump out and switch it.

No gas cap pressure won't do it...that releases the gas pressure not fuel pressure. Just unhook the only electrical thig that is there (This is not hard dude) then turn on your car. It should die in like 5 seconds. Then try to start it like 2 more times. You start removing nuts and bolts....you can always put them back if they are't the right ones. I'm sorry, but if you're having problems with this I really hope you don't change your oil by yourself!
