Default installing the Victor X

I will be installing the Edelbrock Victor X on my 00 Si this weekend...is it a pretty straight forward install? Will I need any misc. items to complete the install?

thanks in advance...

mine was easy, make sure you have an intake manifold gasket - that's all I can think of at this moment

extra vacuum hoses, you're gonna have to re-route almost all of them, also injectors are a pita, you have to re-use bolts from the tb and the fuel rail mount, and you need to make your own hex driver for the end nut to tighten that sucker. I just took it to home depot and got a big nut/bolt and used that to tighten it. If I had to do it over....I wouldn't.

hoses are taken care of, new mani already tapped for vacuum lines...are you saying for the fuel rail that I'll need the hex driver? what kinda problems will I run into with the injectors.
thanks

steps as followed with the manifold

-make sure and clean the head real good of any deposit from old manifold gasket especially around areas envolving coolant
-the hex part is for the large nut in the side of the plenium- make something that will work to tighten it.
-be careful with injectors don't mess up the O-rings
-clean the screen to the IACV cause you will most likely chance throwing a code
-GET a HONDATA intake manifold gasket just a thought

1) check
2) I'll have to check that one, I can't remember off hand what that looks like...I do remember the rear of the plenum having a huge allen fitting nut.
3) check
4) check
5) stuck to OEM

thanks

get a big *** nut and bolt that fits the plenum nut, thread them together completely, then you can use it and a wrench to tighten it. It won't completely seat.

Oh, another thing. If you are using the stock 99-00 si IAT mounted in the piping before the throttle body....you're gonna need a plate to cover the one on the backside of victorx manifold. Mine didn't come with one.
