Default installing sensors...but where?

i'm going to be purchasing the Defi Display and Control Unit.

oil temp usually in the oil pan. put the water temp on the side of the head

I was thinking of using a t-fitting in one of my turbo coolant lines for the water temp.

And for the oil temp, maybe run a firewall relocation kit and t off of there?

I'm really after what will give the most accurate readings...and don't want a hackjob.
