Default installing eg radiator in crx question

i bought an aftermarket 93 civic rad from autozone. on the bottom there are two small brass pipes coming out that i probally don't need to use. there are two rubber caps on them blocking the holes. anyone run these with just the caps on?

I hope your not running any type of aftermarket traction bar setup cause YOU WILL have a hell of a time getting that rad in your car.

But to answer your question. The 2 pipes are to run auto trans coolant through....its a universal type radiator. So yeah, you can cap them if you want to or not, it doesnt really matter.

I just picked up a radiator from an audi or VW the other day at the junkyard.
This thing is dual core, and super thick. I had to trim away the mounting tabs on it,
but it fits into the the a/c rad spot as tight as a glove. This is a THICK *** radiator,
and freed up about 1-2" of space. I have some pics, but im still trying to figure
out what car it came out of. The car was completely burnt from the dash back,
and the yard closed before i was able to examine the car.
And no, its not a scirocco radiator, im almost sure it was some kind of audi.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but this is a perfect option for us CRX guys.
Ill post up my pics once i find out what car the rad is from.
