Inline pro manifold: PICS!
that a nice mani and all but i have the tubular rev hard manifold and mine looks like a better design than that not to knock you or anything but i didnt get to keep my ac either so i guess the question is what is better staying cool or looking cool ?
stainless does rust, the rust collects on the outside,it can be wipped off if you stay on it every few weeks, but my comptech header rusted,it was stainless,no my tubular turbo manifold is rusting,it is also stainless,it only seems to collect in certain parts,if you dont want rust get it ceramic coated or jet coated.
my manifold was 500$ from revhard i think it was worth every penny. if your interested in 1 just give them a call and see what they can do for you i dont know who else sells them .
Yes, go with ceramic coating if you would like to help the rusting. Usually S.S. will rust around the weld areas though.
How about Jet-Hot's 2000 degree black crinkle coat.
Question is, can they coat only the outside ... or doesn't it matter as far as disturbing flow on the inside (with the "rough" texture). Ed
How much do the inline pro manifold typically run? Where's a good place to get one, assuming a groupbuy doesn't pop up soon?
100 people for the h22/h23? damn, i was thinking about going with their mani instead of the one from maxrev..but since they haven't even started producing them for the h23, guess i'll stick with maxrev
Nice manifold. i noticed the aem ems in your pics. How's that working for you? I compared the prices of the EMS, Motec one, and hondata 4b and it seems like the hondata has more bang for a lot less buck. Do you have to use the FMU with the ems? thanks, just curious.
