Inline tunes Hondata now? Cool. John used to be against Hondata alot. That's cool they're being open-minded about it now.

Tempest has been tuning Hondata for awhile as well. They're also very reputable - also a heck of a lot closer to La Plata than InlinePRO. Both shops are pricey but well worth the money.

i went there this recent monday to get my car dyno'd/tunned...i dont really know what was all involved with the tunning, but all the guy did was set my afc settings; now that i think about it, it wasnt that much of tunning done =

So what exactly did you think they were going to tune your car with if you're running an AFC? It might not seem like a lot of tuning, but it's got to be better than before with NO tuning.
Yea i guess i just had high hopes out of the afc hack...oh well...wonder if they can tune/play with Uberteg's chip...hmm

well, how much power were you laying down before john messed with the afc. From what i remember they don't like the afc hack and they might have run it alittle rich so that there won't be any problems. They made a significan't amount of power out of my car using an afc.

Since right now he is not making his software available to many people, they won't be able to do a thing with the Uberchip unless they are good with a hex editor, but most car guys just aren't that brainy.

That is other than tuning with an AFC type device after installing the chip.

INLINEPRO built my friends civic. Its crazy... probally the fastest car I have ever been in. At 11 psi it got 330 whp. The block is built to hold 26psi and inlinpro said that at 25 psi they laid down around 500 whp!!!!

here are some pics

Total sleeper

Toby's car is fast. To bad he sold it. Ask him about the battle he had with me. I made 330whp on 10psi, so ha, i got him beat. j/k. His car was fast, real fast.

I love my inlinepro manifold, but I have to say "they don't like the afc hack" and "he is against hondata" are two most stupid statements I've ever heard.

WHY don't they like them? It's new and they don't want to learn something new? Less profit margin on Hondata than other systems? Lose money with AFC hack because they don't get to sell you an FMU?

Sorry, I just don't understand.

The way I understand, they didnt start tuning Hondata until very recently. Who actually does the tuning and how much experience they have with the software...I have no clue.

NOVA + Hondata equals Sakai, he did a great job on my car as well as many others. We actually tuned @ Inline and Stan was very cool about rescheduling for later in the day and sticking around, as well as letting me go a bit overtime with no charge. Inline gets a from me as well.

well it was my first time tunning cus i just finished installing the turbo a few days before...it only made 117whp with 117tq at 3psi and a leaking charge pipe...hopefully i can get uberteg to chip my ecu and take it to inline for another dyno run...anyone know if inline chips ecu's? rather have it done local so i dont have to worry about the wait and not having a car for a while

I have had my car at tempest racing, I will not go back, if you have seen my recent post before. I would like to goto someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to a built car. So all of the comments that were posted since my last helps my decision, I hope that stan can still take the car in for tuning on wed.

Thanks alot guys for all your input.

Whatever happened with ur car.

I cant really give a good opinion about Tempest yet. Im having it towed from Tempest to another shop, not becase Tempest fucked up but because the shop im taking it to needs to fix sumthin they worked on before.

But to tell the truth all they did was diagnoise some problems and build me a downpipe. Doesnt really challenge thier competence concerning more technical work ei. building engines.

go with the stainless, then get it heat coated. but it will never be real shiney to much heat for it to stay blingin.
