inline fuel pump? vafc hack? help please
i've decided to go with the vafc hack. would i be needing an inline fuel pump? if i do, what does it do? is it an extra pump after the oem one or a replacement? thanx for all your help
do you know what the vafc consists of? basically its to control larger injectors in a ghetto way. if you have larger injectors (usually dsm 450cc injectors + resistor box) you dont need an extra fuel pump.
no you will not need an inline fuel pump, but I would recommend you buying a upgraded intank fuel pump. BTW i have the setup, works great..... boosting 10lbs happily with no dentonation
thanx for the info ya'll. so is the intank a direct replacement of the oem one and an inline a extra pump that goes somewhere after the original one? To Khang77642: did you read the post about the vafc hack? check out this post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=211687&page=1
i have a slight clue of what it saying but can't understand it fully. have you had similar problem like its stated on the post. Share your experience with us on your vafc hack setup. thanx

well, I'm not really sure about that particular post ,I mean i get it but i'm not that knowledgeable about what precautious I should take about timing being advance under boost, but I still went on the safe side and took his advice and retard my time 4 degress.
**retard 0.25 for every 2 psi of boost.
So far I have no problem with the setup, It starts up fine and idle normal. There was only one ocassion when my car didnt fire up at all,it was sputtering. didnt know what happen. So i went out that night because it was friday and came home later and it started right up. So far I have no problems and its actually works, what you might get that is different is that you can hear the injector pulse from the DSM injectors. So far I havn't heard any dentonation in this TEXAS hot weather.Becuase before the setup, i had dentonation problems. Hope this help
but I am still trying to fix my overheating problem I had before I had the setup (possible air in radiator).

what do you mean by timing? cam gears or ignition like the msd or crane? i'm very new to this so can you help me clear this up?
In general, caming gears is a part of timing. MSD are ignition control
