I just picked up a set of dsm injectors for the boost project. 3 of them have the black cover and the one doesnt, is it bad to be missing it at all? Or should I get one that has a cover on it? heres a pic

 

just go to napa ask for rebuild kit for that injector you will get new pintle caps orings and all just use that i think complete kit from napa is 14.00 bucks

the pintle cap missing wont effect flow or spray but its there as protection to the pintle needle

 

i have a couple with and a couple w/o, no troubles
