Which injectors...

Re: Which injectors...
Three things that will help you get a good answer...
1) hp goals
2) type of fuel you're using
3) base fuel pressure
For 300 whp on gasoline at 43.5psi base fuel pressure, our 650cc injector will do the job and leave you with a little bit of headroom, but not a lot.
650cc: 650cc FIC Honda/Acura Fuel Injector Clinic Injector Set (High-Z)
775cc (for extra headroom if you plan to grow the setup a bit): 775cc FIC Honda/Acura Fuel Injector Clinic Injector Set (High-Z)
For 300 whp on E85 at 43.5 psi base fuel pressure, our 1000cc injector will do the job and leave you with a comfortable amount of headroom.
1000cc: 1000cc FIC Honda/Acura Fuel Injector Clinic Injector Set (High-Z) Previously 900cc
Fuel Injector Clinic injectors feature Data Match Technology to give you the matching, and the precise data you need to tune your car with precision... helping your tuner get the car to idle smoothly and drive around town well, as well as perform its best.
I'll be happy to answer any other questions if you have any. Hope that helps!

This will be for a gs-r running a greddy kit at stock boost 8psi. Running CA 91 octane ****. Not trying to build a dyno queen, just a nice streetable setup.

Re: Which injectors...
Speaking of Bosch based injectors at great prices. Osidetiger on eBay sells refurbished Bosch injectors for all Hondas in sizes up to 880cc all high impedence. Not to mention a 1ur warranty as well as exceptional customer service. I've bought three sets total on high hp boosted d16 and mot once had an issue.

Love my ID1000s. Have only ever used RC,ID and FIC in my builds but the IDs are definitely a quality product and with a good tuner your car will run great with plenty of room to grow in the future as your power needs increase.

Re: Which injectors...
If you're looking at 1000cc injectors, ours are available for $420 shipped. feature precise matching by both slope flow value as well as individual latency values, and include complete tuning data, described in more detail below.
You can even order them through Prayoonto Racing or Dynamic Performance if you want to help support their race programs. They both use our injectors exclusively as they run at the front of the SFWD, All Motor, and Pro Stock packs.
Precise matching of each of your injectors into a set, and injector data for use with tuning are going to make a big difference in the way your car runs when all is said and done. Because of this, we developed Data Match Technology, which I have copied some info on below. Take a minute to check out the quick video to help understand the difference between a precisely matched set of injectors vs. an unmatched or poorly matched set.

Fuel Injector Clinic has developed a specialized flow bench in collaboration with ECMTuning, Inc., which accurately measures the microscopic volume of fluid dispensed while it is being operated by a car'’s ECU. This method provides tuners with the best possible injector data to successfully tune their cars.
This sample flow sheet displays the all new in-depth data sheet included with our high performance injector sets and includes the data your ECU is looking for.
Included in this impressive new data sheet are Dynamic Slope Flow Rate and Individual Injector Offset Values for each serialized injector, as well as an Injector Voltage Offset table that has been customized for your injector set so that your ECU can be calibrated precisely for your new injectors.
We also have a new video explaining Data Match Technology and showing some behind the scenes shots of our custom R&D and production injector flow benches. These flow benches are used to match our injector sets and provide our customers with the most complete flow matching and latency value information in the industry!
Click below to see the video and get more information on Fuel Injector Clinic's Data Match Technology!
This info is summarized below, to read about this in full and see all of the graphs, go to this page: Data Match Technology
The Data Match Technology information sheet provided with each set of Fuel Injector Clinic injectors matched using this method gives you three sets of very important data:
1) Dynamic Slope Flow Rate for each individually serial numbered injector
2) Individual Injector Offset Values for each serial numbered injector in your set
3) Injector Voltage Offset table

Re: Which injectors...
I would definitely use FIC injectors again as well, so if you can get them cheaper than the IDs then I don't think you will ever be disappointed. The only reason I have ID1000s now is because I got them lightly used for $275, but prior to that I had FIC 550s and they never let me down. Very precise fueling from both companies injectors so IMHO I would go with the best price out of the two because quality wise I don't see one beating out the other.

Re: Which injectors...
I ordered FIC 1000cc for my build only because the supplier wanted $480 for the ID1000 while the FIC were $385 so thought to save $95 to invest in another part.
I did some quick research and found mixed views but most were positive so thought to try them out. Only thing not sure if they'll be enough for my 500whp target.

Re: Which injectors...
Glad you chose Fuel Injector Clinic, you should be very happy with them.
500 whp will be close on our 1000cc injectors (or anyone elses), but if you're running gasoline you might be able to just get there. Its going to be a far reach on E85, even with higher fuel pressure, but I know you said previously you plan to run gasoline. Will you be able to make that kind of power on pump gas or do you have a race gas tune in mind as well?
That's what I wanted to get into at the beginning of the post to make sure you chose the right thing, but even now is better than later. If you want to talk about this or have any other questions we can hash it out here, or you can feel free to call us directly at (561) 427-0082.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to reach 500 whp on our 1000cc injectors (or anyone elses), unless you plan to run at a higher fuel pressure and you're using gasoline.

Re: Which injectors...
You're correct B20VtecVillan, I do think its possible to just kiss 500 whp on gasoline with these injectors. It looks like a max estimated 500-510 whp on a turbo gasoline setup, and about 400 whp max estimated if you're running E85.
I'll edit my previous post to make that more clear.
