Why would someone pay 500 dollars for a set of these?

if they want the product they will, I would pay for them. What makes them so nice is you eliminate the need for a resistor box. new and improved technology that's all expalined above I wont repeat it.

Haha, Bosch is actually very good quality in everything they make, they're OEM in a lot of German cars. I think you're confusing Bosch with Delco.

Midwest, they're not $500/set and when you compare them to a set of RC's and a resistor box, on price alone they make sense. Not to mention the advantages of them. They start life as a newer technology injector. OEMs put a ton of money into injector research and technology. Injector atomization can have a huge affect on fuel consumption and power. This is just the aftermarket catching up to where the OEMs are now on injector performance.

Hmm i guess....

But at 279 for some precision 1000s, and resistor boxes costing 20 dollars.

Id spend the extra money im saving towards some slicks..

Dont get me wrong, it is great that there are saturated 1000s on the market finally.

sure, if you are unwilling to accept that there is something (potentially) better out there. i, personally, hate resistor boxes. they are a mess and a P.I.T.A. i will never use anything other than saturated. but that's just me, not everyone else.
also, from what i've read (no proof. just ads), these work better. why would you want injectors that don't work as well? to save a few dollars? that's the difference between doing someone well and.. well, just doing something.

all my opinion. everyone is free to use what they like, of course.

and before anyone thinks i'm nut-riding: i'm not. i won't be using these injectors. i'll be sticking with 750cc RCs. but i think people need to have an open mind about new products and be willing to pay extra for quality stuff.

lastly, Bosch products are great. i only use their wideband sensors (they are cheap @ my VW dealership).

MidwestAutoWorks: out of curiosity, are you a vendor? and do you stock Precision injectors and not Bosch?

personal preference. if you feel better to buy those, then you have all right. yes they work great, but these work better. it's like going from a 50in 720 Plasma to a 50 1080i better resolution and newer up todate technology

a better analogy, a floor model TV with twist ***** to a flat panel HDTV.....i like the flat panel myself

I have use bosch 1600cc injectors alot with a driver the injectors cost $250 and the driver cost $140. still cheaper than the new high impedence 1000's bosch offer but i still plan on trying out them out.

i like the stray pattern of high impedence injectors

I can tell you from working on German cars for the past 5 years that Bosch makes some very reliable injectors...I have NEVER seen a Bosche injector fail.
My shop foreman who has 35+ years on Porsche/VW/Audi has also never seen a Bosch injector fail...
Reliability of these injectors should not even be a question!
