Default is this injector usable? (dsm blue tops.)

ok i got this set of dsm blue tops for free so of course i took them.
but my problem is this....one of the tips is cracked as you can see in the pictures below, my question is would this injector be usable or to be safe should i look for a good one? i know its common sense and piece of mind but i was just wondering if its a big deal or not. let me know please thanks in advance

It might be hard to find but I imagine it could be done. Honestly I wouldn't even worry about it unless you put it in and it leaks.

Those thing spray directly from the pintle in the end so I doubt that crack is even going to effect anything.

Take them all off, they are just there to protect from damaging the needle. They do not affect spray pattern. They are so common for comming off, and i wouldn't want one comming off when i am at 8000 going down the track.

ok one more question, ill admit i am a complete boost noob, these "blue tops" i believe they are 450cc right? how much power are these usualy good for untill theyre maxed out?

Everyone and their mom has lost a pintle cap off a DSM injector. Some people have found replacements at Napa, although I didn't and had to buy a new set on ebay. Definitely don't leave the cracked one on because I've seen people do that before, then one day they pulled it out and the cap was gone, undoubtedly baked onto the piston top.

yup, no need for them, they just protec the tip of the injector from damage. and yes they are 450cc and require the use of a resistor box

ok so im assuming these injectors will do fine at my 300-350HP goal?

nope, they are at 100% duty cycle at like 300 whp. i wouldnt go over 280ish whp with them just to be safe
