Default Injector size question

Hey I’m doing a turbo build for my b16 I’m aiming for about 400-450 hp. And I’ve seen people suggest getting 1000cc just to not have to upgrade later and so they don’t run at full power or something like that don’t know much about it. I’m checking pricing and I can get 2200cc for cheaper then 1000cc is it ok to get 2200cc or would that mess up my idle or mess with something else. I forgot to mention I have a 450 walbro

also injectors I’m referring too are blox 1000cc and 2200cc eco-fi stuff

You cannot buy quality 2200cc fuel injectors for LESS than a quality set of 1000cc fuel injectors. 1000cc fuel injectors will be large enough.

it’s from the blox official website.

So will this mess with my idle? Or will it make it run super rich or something

Thats pretty strange, I assume they are on sale cheaper because no one ever needs such a big injector and they never sell.

Just ask your tuner, see if Hes ok with tuning it with those size injectors I'm sure it's fine.

I don’t have a tuner haha not yet at least I’ve done some research and everyone has it runs really bad at idle so idk some say it’s ok some say no

Literally says not meant for racing. Id avoid anything with blox on it.

Couple of my high horsepower friends use alpha injectors. Or run the tried and true rc injectors

Rc injectors been around a long time. I just had my rc injectors cleaned by them and made 450whp a couple weeks ago.

Dont buy blox injector. Buy a set of quality injectors like stated above. Also buy enough injector that give you plenty of wiggle room on duty cycle left over. Injector duty cycle=fuel pressure + boost pressure. I recommend you figure some details out first before spending money.

I've had good experiences with FID and Injector Nation.

Injector Dynamics, FIC, and Grams are also reputable brands.

No idea on Blox, I also can't think of why a set of EV14 injectors would say "not for race use" but I'm assuming there's a reason for that.
