Default Ingalls Torque Damper

I just got done installing one of the new Ingalls Torque Dampers and man, what a huge difference. It helped a ton. The motor moves minimally and it doesn't vibrate anything like the Prothane motor mounts. The car definately wheel hops a lot less and it feels much more solid when I shift. I'm pretty sure that it will help keep me from breaking the crappy 96-00 Driver side mount also. Special thanks to Tom at Lightning Motorsports

Yeah, I had a few friends that bought the one on ebay and it broke after a few months. The Ingalls one seems to be much higher quality. It looks like a very solid piece.

That's true. I bought the one on Ebay and it came apart. The shaft was two-piece, so I welded it together and has been fine since.

And while one may not be "made" for your car, it is just a matter of getting the bracket to fit. I welded mine to the radiator support.

How much movement does the damper have? Also, how hard is it to move by hand?

I recently installed one of these on a 240sx i built a turbo kit for. It really helped stabalize the motor (had to weld a bracket also). The one I put on could not be moved by hand but moves maybe 5mm when you rev it hard. I would not use a honda radiator support though, those things are pretty flimsy but I guess there arent may places to do it on a honda. I can just imagine a hard shift into 3rd flexing the support enough to pop the hood maybe my imagination is wrong though...

You cannot move it by hand at all.
