Info on turbo size
Hey guys I am currently building a 84.5mm darton sleeved ls vtec with a Gsr head. I have a new masterpower turbo but I'm not sure what kind of power it is capable of or if it will be a good choice to use..
Here's the info on the turbo: MasterPower pn 802100-063

Any info you guys can give will be helpful!

Well its states right there the turbo is good for 300-350hp. the only difference between the three is the size of the turbine housing. Other than that they are all the same trim wheels. You should research a turbo before buying it to make sure you get the right turbo for the application. Thats alot of motor for that turbo, it will max out very quickly
I purchased all the parts from a friend as a package. I was just curious of how this turbo will respond and hp range. I have plans to buy a gt30r-35r turbo in the near future
I don't see how masterpower rates a turbo when they don't know what engine it's going on. I'm sure a ls1 would make way more hp than rated using that turbo.

Would it be a bad idea to use the skunk2 pro1 cams with this turbo or should I just wait till I get the bigger turbo? I can use the older skunk2 turbo 1 cams if need be.

Because it doesn't matter. The turbo can only flow so much CFM of air. The difference in engine iswhere it would reach that level of airflow.
