Default impendence and resister box. bad >>??

if the stock honda ecu is a high impendence ecu driver, and you run a resistor box to run low impendence injectors.

does this cause the injectors to burn out faster ?

i guess the question is, if you could get high or low. should i go with high since that's what the car is made for. or does hondata recalibrate the signal..

if you can, go with the high's, last i check hondata does not recalibarate for low impedence.

Hondata does not recalibrate the impedence, it's a hardware issue.

Drawbacks of? You're just lowering the current draw of the injectors so as not to cook the drivers. Once the current runs through the resistor box, it's no different than it would normally be with saturated injectors. Remember, Honda's ran resistor packs back in the day..

yea they ran them back in the day, but i thought the ecu knew they were low impendence.

why would they have the ecu run high, and then use a resister box to make them low.

The ECU didn't "know" anything, the drivers were the same, Honda just used the pack to lower the draw. Why? I guess P/H injectors were cheaper?

Difference in waveforms between saturated and P/H injectors (Tech Note #8).

FYI: P/H injectors can control fuel delivery a little more precisely than the saturated variety.
