Im A Jackass! blown ignition?
so i was doing a compression test on my car today, and there was this unit with it that you hook up to your starter pos. and neg. terminals, hit a button and its supposed to turn the car over without you having to get in the car and do it with the key.
well while hooking it up i accidentally jumped the connection between my starters pos. cable and the body of my starter, and it made a spark. i thought nothing of it and did the comp. test, put it all back together and now my car wont start, my plugs are getting no spark. i checked all the fuses and not a single one blew, and now im stumped.
what else could i have blown? something in my ignitions internals? coil or something? i dont know much about ignitions. its a B16 swapped into an 94 civic. thanks for any help.
CLIFF: no spark checked fuses/plugs. what now-?

don't buy a new dizzy just yet....you can save the rotor problem by cutting a slot in the screw with a piece of a hacksaw blade..then just use a large straight blade screwdriver and turn it slowly, make sure you have a good bite on the screw so you don't strip it again, you can pick up a new ignitor at most auto parts stores for $45-$100 go ahead and paypal me the difference.
