Default IHI t25 on a D15b

I was looking at getting an IHI T25 watercooled turbo for the d15...I was wondering a few things..Compressor side is a .4 a/r, and the hotside is a .52..says it can handle up to 225hp, and boost up to 12psi.

-Does it matter if it is watercooled? Like will it work?
-It has a 3 bolt flange, and i am planning on using a CX manifold...will it work ok as long as i get an adapter plate to match the bolt pattern?
-Has anyone used this turboi, or one like it?

Is this the turbo?:

Subaru IHI RHB5

If so there is no reason to try to figure out all of those weird flanges. You can get a Garrett T-25 or a Mitsubishi TD05 or an RHB5 from a non-Subaru engine with a square flange and it will be nearly the same turbo.

This one is .40/.52, and the Garrett and DSM models are .48/.49, which should perform the same.

The watercooling is more common than not and easy to hook up and use. And I would personally recommend it, because then you don't have to worry about turbo timers and other devices to keep your oil from frying.
