idle problem
Hey, I have a ls motor boosted with a drag kit. Its been boosted for about 4k now. I recently developed an idling problem that comes once in a blue. When I come to a complete stop it begins to surge from really low rpm (about to stall out) to about 1. My A/F begins to read very lean (17) when it goes down and richer when it goes up to 1. I wanted to know what this could be because this has happened about three times to me now and I am getting concerned. relatively new to cars and boost so if you could dumb it down that would be great.
thanks in advance

Re: idle problem (pbzhb)
This is a complete guess, but whenever I had issues like that, I check spark plugs, fuel filter, distributor, plug wires, and oil level before I do anything else....you'd be surprised how the littlest things can sometimes make your car do goofy stuff.

Re: idle problem (pbzhb)
I never experienced an issue like this on my boosted B18B. However, a lot of people N/A have the surging idle when their IACV is clogged or malfunctioning.
Have you looking into that yet? Take it off the IM and check the screen. Make sure it is free from obstruction.
