idle issues among other things...
i am losing interest, i need to get my car running and make all that hard work finally pay off.
brand new rebuilt motor won't hold an idle with 880cc injectors on a basemap using hondata s300. (figure it needs a tune but i want to be positive before i spend the cash on a tune.
When the motor is doing it's surging idle there is a clicking noise (it's not the injectors, but sounds like it's coming from that area). When the throttle is held down to keep an idle at about 1500rpm the noise goes away and the motor sounds healthy.
Then today to top it off, took the wastegate off (top mount manifold with the wastegate being the bottom most point of the manifold) and out comes about 2 ounces of water not antifreeze and slight oil mixture. <--- could this be condensation?
there is no oil in the radiator, or coolant in the oil
Using a skunk2 68mm throttle body, Victor X IM, GSR block and head, CP pistons, eagle rods.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
Am i just being **** and it needs a tune?
