Default The ideal mounting of an external Wastegate?

Hi guys...this is the turbo manifold that I will be using...and yes..i know its not that pretty of a manifold...lol...but the question was..where is the best spot to mount my Tial Wastegate? Should I mount it smack dab right in the middle of the manifold on top..or off the the side somewhere..any inputs?

Usually the flange is off to the left of the manifold so as to avoid clearance issues with the hood, radiator, ect.

What do you mean by this......to the left of the manifold from looking at the manifold from the front of the car or from the cabin.

i would say put it pretty much wherever it fits, mine is nearly in the middle, but i've seen others placed differently... i THINK it just comes down to fitment issues as someone else mentioned. good luck.

Thank you..thats what i was thinking too...placing it in the center....i'll have to do a test fit..and make sure that it doesn't hit my hood....but...i think the inline pro manifold has its wastegate placed in the center as well...hopefully i won't have any hood clearance problems...

i like the manifold anything someone makes that is outta the ordinary props to you.

it is prolly got better flow then a god dam log.

mount the wg right above the turbo inlet.

Awesome thanks for the info...is there any particular reason as to why it would be better to put it directly above the turbo inlet?

Because it is the spot where all the runners meet, therefore allowing all runners to be bled of excess exhaust equally.
