Default I need a Headgasket!

OK I need a 77mm D16 headgasket asap. I made an order with Race Engineering for a Cometic non HP one about a month or more ago. I called back sometime this week and they tell me that Cometic is changing their machinery or something and therefore they don't know when they'll get the gaskets in. GE doesn't do overbored D16 headgaskets (which makes no sense considering they will sleeve a D16 block and bore it to whatever). Anyway... I need a good 77mm, stock thickness (.030" i think) D16 headgasket soon. Does anyone know where I can find one? Overbored OEM or Cometic seem to be the only good choices.

GE doesnt do D Headgaskets? then why this company selling them--->http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/ge_engine.htm

R+D Dyno also sells cometics-->http://www.rddyno.com/prod/cometic.shtml

well i spoke to GE directly on 3 different occasions and they said no they do not do them. and even on the site it says "D-Series... coming soon." I'll check with R+D Dyno but I highly doubt many people stock 77mm d16 gaskets. thanks for the link anyhow.

You could always buy a OEM honda gasket and take it somewhere and have it bored to 77mm. Thats all that GE does. There is nothing special about it.

Just around to some machine shops - im sure somebody would do it for a few bucks. Just make sure its cut not pressed. Pressed will leave a lip on the gasket.
