todaym i drive down to ATL to go to the main NOPI store to buy a FAL rear window for my 95 Integra.... it's only a 3 hr drive, and the 30 bux i spent in gas is a lot better than paying like 100 bux shipping. so anyways...... i get down there, and they don't have the window, so I fgure, while I'm there, i would take a look at the new GReddy turbo kit for the 97-01 Prelude. so, after i get a good look at it, i realie tat i can't be without it, so i say, "I'll take it." well, then i ask, "do you guys have the FMIC kit for it too?" they check, GReddy hasn't released it yet, so i buy an FMIC type 24 for an Eclipse.... biggest one they make, and it's only got like 2 pipes, so it save me a lil dough. oh, yeah, fuel manangement for my Teg... how about a V-AFC too, oh yeah, i guess i need a BOV, oh yeah, i need a new shift ****, etc etc.......

the really really bad thing aobut all this is...... i used my dad's credit card, he is going to **** a brick for real.... i am about to get a 2nd job deliverying pizzas at nigh or some ****..... only LS/VTEC in town, and i'll be delivering pizzas in it "hey buddy, if there's an extra 10 bux in it, i'll have it there in half the time "

Damn, you should have called up some of us ATL boys...I know MANY people at that NOPI (my work has an account there), I could have maybe got you a discount.

But yeah, they NEVER have anything in stock..im suprised they had all what you got. How in the hell you get all that stuff back home? Especially the hood?

 

they hooked me up pretty good..... all that stuff should have totaled around $6200 +tax, but i ended up making out at about $4800 +tax. plus the guy gave me his business card, and the number straight to the front desk, no more "thanks you for calling NOPI custom and performance, only XX days to the world famous NOPI nationals......" he told me all i had to do was call him and he'd still hook me up, plus he told me to fax them a copy of my dad's busness liscense and tax ID number and he could probably even do better than that. i don't think my dad will really be pissed off, b/c he knows i'm good for it, it'll just take a few months to pay him back

i would, but i am worried about the daily driveability in that case...... I live in the Mtns. of NC and my girlfriend goes to school about 200 mile east and about 1500-2000 ft lower in elevation, so they normally 2 hr trip would take about 6 hrs b/c i would have to pull over 10 times to burn a new chip b/c of the change in atmospheric pressure. ..... so i figure if i get a chipped P28 with a nice piggyback system (V-AFC) along with that AVR-R i've got, i shouldn't run in to as many problems...... "oh damn, it's leaning out, let me just press this little button here an up the fuel flow a little." instead of "son of a b*tch, it's leaning out, now i've got to stop, dig my laptop out, and burn a new f*cking ship!!!

how can people say that is spoiled. there is a fine line between people that are spoiled and thankful for what they have. my parents were some what like that. when i was in the 8th grade i had a full entertainment system, big stereo decent tv. i still have everthing that has not broken due to old age. i took good care of everthing my parents have ever bought for me and apprecieat every bit of it. was i spoiled? hell no!!

j/k, i work full time for my dad, and go to school at night, and early in the morning...... i do however WORK for my money, unlike what most people think when you work for your parents. i am also in the process of getting a part time job on weekends too. oh well, **** happens, but i'll pay for it..... eventually

yup im working about 50 +hrs a week at my full time job. plus 20hrs a week at school at night and then trying to start my own business on the side
it sucks but it pays off .. . . i guess.
