Yes there is. Its the heat created by the friction of Honda-Tech swinging from Geoff and his crews nut sack..

Nice kit.. Sounds complete.. This is not a Full Race thread..

Pretty much anything that uses thick walled plumbing to act as a heatsink, and elevate underhood temps as much as possilbe, yes.

The Hytech kit uses thin walled pipe, which does not absorb as much heat (energy) out of the exhaust in an attempt to overheat the ambient air in the engine bay. This is reverred to as "cool."

Read the fine print:

Dyno not included with turbo kit.

I agree with you - There is alot of cockriding

I meant my above post as a serious question and not to praise Full-Race

Quality is quality, the Hytech kit looks nice!

looks nice... i wonder why they didn't clock the turbo 90 degrees clockwise. that way they'd be able to get a u bend into the i/c and probably get better flow through that thing. there must be a reason like chassis clearance or something. where's the wastegate?

Looks Nice
I think its over priced but that must just be me
I don’t like the small turbo, internal w/g (guessing)(i know you said external but I see no flang ), and small DP!
If I were going to keep the small turbo I would seriously consider the internal w/g as long as creep was not a problem.
BUT the turbo is to small for my likes
They could have at least gone w an E trim

Very nice, Hytech makes some of the best stuff for hondas and for other racing applications. I have been using their exhaust system for a F2000 now for 4 years and couldn't be happier.

Yeah, with a tubular manifold like that, it better be using an external WG...

Look at the turbine housing, it is indeed internally-wastegated...

I hope Hytech has an upgrade kit which incorporates a flange for an external WG setup.

Either way, you know that manifold will not crack on you... John is one of the best of the best welders around I haven't seen any welds up to date that can compare to his.

John told me that it came with a Tial Wastegate. perhaps those pics only show a mockup. I know the kit is not gonna be a production kit. It's full custom. I asked about fitment in EG's and with K24 blocks which are taller and he said since its custom it will fit anywhere.

I'm a big full-race fan, but John has been fabricating custom exhausts for some serious types of racing since Geoff was in diapers.

I can confirm this price, as I'm the one that posted the pics, and I got them and the price, directly from John.
