How should I run this intercooler?
Hey guys I did a search many times with different word combinations and couldn't find exactly what I needed.
That being said, here we go! I have a 1992 Integra. I want to run a 2g eclipse intercooler that I have. I think it's newer because it's really clean. Should I mount it in the fender? I think that would be the best place.
Also, what kind of piping should I get (links to order please!)?
Should I use my AEM cold air (2 piece) and run that to the IC, then get another pipe to go from the IC to the turbo? I heard the AEM CAI may be a little too wide.
Please help me out! I have to order everything tonight and get the car going. This is the last step!
Thanks,
Goldfingiz

Yes, you should just use your AEM CAI and run it to the SMIC. You should mount it in the fender and tuck it in nicely. I have a pic of an EG with one but its on my computer. I would load it up for you but my 56k lightening speed modem isn't exactly the fastest of them. Anyways, just order the rest of the pipes from http://www.jcwhitney.com and be prepared to wait some while.
I think the only concern you should be worried about is mounting the BOV...You might want to think about that...GOod LuCK!

The aem cai for the ls is about 2.5'' which is a good size for the charge pipe. Its on the gsr's and itr's where the piping gets big.

Just mount it where you can get good flow and its easy to pipe. As for the bov, just order the correct flange and take your pipe to an muffler shop and they can weld it up for you.

The flange is BOV specific...IE if you have a greddy S bov, you need a greddy flange...if you have HKS, you need an hks flange

you can also get mandrel bends from NAPA. They usually stock them so no wait. Look in summit for an idea of the price, i believe they were dynomax.
