I've got a b18c in a civic hatch, dragIII turbo on 7psi daily driven, 9 on the track. I'm running 12 degrees right now.... no detonation with 93 octane (also at 6000feet elevation). Can I advance my timing at all, or is this right?

BTW, I ran a 13.003 @ 6000ft, and I wanna get into the 12's badly.

 

cool another elevation person. i am in alb NM (also 6000 ft). put race gas in c-16 is nice and run another 2-3 degrees as long as your intercooled. i have a gs-r with a custom setup (i built) and a hondata and i am pushing 9 psi on pump gas. i do have hondata and my total timing is about 23-24 deg. i should pull it back a bit but my msd knock alert (visual knock display) says no knock so im good to go . dynoed wed. and pushed 11psi no knock but the car was missing under boost. possible shitty stock ignition. nothing else points to the miss except for the miss. also i had a 88 crx with a d16 and i pushed 10 psi on stock motor and NO fuel upgrades and 180,000 mi. for 23 passes down the 1/4 and here it is a year late and the car is still running (sold it last year) thanks to race gas.

ps-no intercooler and had beat the car hard for a year. damn couldnt kill that car.

but best i ever ran was 14.7 at 97mph on street tires

 

what compression are u running in the b18c

 

Well, It's a j-spec motor, so stock internals = 10.6:1 really high, I know...
