How much power in what car what motor??? Lets just say 92-95 hatch gsr swap 200-225 whp from a roll with a good driver should be sufficient. If you have to ask you probably are going to lose miserably. Congrats on the loss.

You can beat stock Evo or STI with stock engine. Just do a ricer fly-by and put you hazard light on after you past them. But on the serious note, I made 235whp/205 tq on my boost ej1 and I took stock evo in quartor mile.

Re: (da_dude)
first of all speak english got damn it
i have an evo and i can tell you that there is no such thing as a stock evo on the streets. all evos have bolt ons and are making at least 300whp.
evos in general are very slow because of the awd system and the fact that they are very heavy. their eta's are relative very fast but their trap speeds are always low.
with a light weight honda it does not take much power at all to beat evo's/sti's from a roll. probably <250whp in a 2500 pounds car will be more than enough to take you average 300whp evo from a roll. at the 1/4 miles if you not on slicks you can forget out it.

Re: (Doostur)
When i was out in Cali on the freeway, my homie and i raced a evo from a roll, he was b20 vtec boosted, i was sohc boosted. We smoked the evo, i was at 14 psi 283 to the wheels, and i had to get off of it, clucth slipped. But he and the evo was at it. And he won.
Now i ran a sti here in Ga with only 10psi on sohc, from a roll, killed him and he said i kept pulling on him. Its all up to the driver too. I would say 250-280 hp and you will be good. Power to weight bro.

i dont know about evo, but i pulled up to a stoplight one time and there was a supra sitting beside a ferrari. i heard the little guy in the supra ask the ferrari guy how much the car costs, and he told them it was more than they could afford. then the big guy in the supra said smoke'em. after the race i did a fly by and beat them all

haha i say in a EK all you need is 280-300whp w/ DR's to own bolt-ons STI's or EVO's, but no doubt there gonna take you on launch but once that 3rd gear comes you should past them up and on a roll you'll get them no problem unless you cant drive.
