How much oil are you guys using with the turbo setups.?

 

i normally run 1/2 a quart to almost a quart higher to compensate for turbo/oil lines.

 

thanks that is what i was thinking...is it necessary to use an oil catch can and if so how can i make one or where do i get one?

 

i use one.. my setup is b series..

i run pcv valve --> closed catch can (jaz catch can can be purchased from jegs, comes with drain valve) --> check valve --> intake manifold

for breather ports i run valve cover fitting open and i have additional fitting on top of engine oil cap added recently.

i'm adding aditional port to allow pcv valve to vent during boost. last picture i posted in that thread explains what i'm trying to do.. i'm almost done doing that setup

thread creator really knows what he's talking about, its very important to have a good ventilation setup.
