Default how much hp

of course this has been asked a million times but.... i have a b16a1 with pr3 head completly stock. type R tranny 6 pluck clutch, precision 750cc injectors accel 4cyl ecu with msd igntion. precision 6262 with .63 a/r. 44mm wastegate, custom front mount, a100o fuel pump, 62mm throttle body and i think that sums it up. looking to boost 15psi. what kind of power can i expect the guy tuning it says at least 300 whp what are your thoughts. thanks

another question can my stock valves springs hold up only reving it to 6500.

1,000,000 HORSEPOWERS!!!

Pu the damn thing on a dyno. THAT'S where you find out what your setup will do.

What??? Reving to 6,500??? Haha, you are perfectly fine to 8,200 RPM. At 15psi you are looking at 400+ whp and over 600+whp after mid/high 20's psi... I would be looking for a different tuner.

...but the bench racing guys said...

That's only if you go to a high reading dyno.

Your stock valve train should be good for 8k rpm.

It depends on a bunch of factors:
-Is the engine built?
-What fuel are you running?
-What manifold? Downpipe size? Exhaust size?
-Do you have an upgraded MAP sensor? If not, you won't hit your arbitrary 15psi goal.

If this engine is stock and you're only shooting for ~300whp, you picked the wrong turbo. If you wanted to make 600whp, then a 6262 would be a decent choice, but from what you've said (and i'm assuming other things since you've neglected to mention some details), I dont think that turbo is going to be a great match for your setup/goals, but I could be wrong. Answer the questions above...and from here on, set your goals in terms of power, not psi.

To everyone else, i know this thread is frustrating/redundant, but lets try to be somewhat productive...otherwise i'll have to close it
