how much can I boost?
Ok so I have a bone stock b16, with aem fuel rail, 440 injectors, and walbro. I have a garrett t25 turbo on it. How much can I boost and be safe and daily drive if I would like? What fpr should I run with this set up? and how much power should I see from all of this? Will be tuning on my hondata s300. Thanks
You should be shooting for a certain hp range, not specific PSI of boost. You are quite limited with those 440 injectors to around 300whp and that is your choke point at the moment. Just make sure you get a true 1:1 FPR for boost (aem, aeromotive). If you're on s300, any reputable tuner should get you up & running quickly.
So should I go with bigger injectors? even though I'm just stock? So the question is, What is safe hp for a stock b16 that will be daily driven. And by daily driven I mean I will drive the car about 2 or 3 times a week to and from car meets and on my days off from work. And what fpr is better in the long run? or will they all be the same. Reason I ask is there is a huge price difference
500+ psi. And on that t25 that's about. 15hp increase
no seriously though it sounds like you have alot of research to do before you boost anything and risk blowing **** up... Have a power goal and then build your project around THAT, different turbos will make different power at the same psi. And you should see about upgrading to at least some 550s, 550s should be good for about 300hp
