How much boost on an unsleeved block?
Unsleeved with a blockguard or totally unsleeved? Once again IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THE RIGHT FUEL SETUP AND TUNING. Standalone tuned ive heard people going boost crazy between 15-20psi but daily you could run 10psi. Block guard/standalone/tuned you could run 12-15 daily I would think. These #'s dont really mean anything because untill you tune it and see whats up anyone can just guess. Hope I helped some or maybe even a little
It's somewhat tuned right now.
My last trip to the dyno made 272 whp and an a/f ratio of 11.5:1 at 14.1psi. I don't think the exhaust temprature can get high enough to start melting things running that kind of boost with that air/fuel ratio.
What do you guys think?

i run 23-24 lbs on a t4. forged pistons/rods/stock sleeves. dynoed 450 to the wheels and went 10.82 in a full interior hatchback. stock motors can take a beating if the tuning is right.
hes running a gsr motor with a haltech e6k, and i would definately have to agree with karl that the key to keeping the sleeves intact is tuning.
