Default How much boost can my friend safely run?

A friend of mine has a 1997 Acura Integra LS. He asks, "I want to know how much boost i can push on a stock b18b motor? I have a walbro 255lph fuel pump, 450cc injectors, running the AFC hack. I have a 2.25" itr exhaust with high flow cat. I was told i can safely run 9 psi of daily driven boost."

I've been running 9psi for several months now with no problems. Actually, it was real cold last night and boost went up to 10.5psi, but I would not recommend that. 9psi with proper a/f and timing should be fine. Although the Hondata dealer here tunes LS's at 12psi.
